I'm sitting in the Cairo airport, and I've just heard the announcement of my flight's departure, so I'll make this quick. I'll be spending the next 18 some-odd hours in airplanes and airports on my way to Dubai. I've only booked a hotel for one of the three "nights" I'll be spending in this capital of consumption, so it's going to make for an interesting trip. After a connection in Amman Jordan, my flight lands at 00:45, and I'm planning to catch a short nap at the airport before making my way into the city. I apologize in advance if I make any sleep-deprived entries over the next three days, and I ask that you bear with me though this chaotic last stop in the Middle East.
